Matcha Smoothie

It is hot out today so this morning I am cooling down from my workout with a matcha smoothie, while watching the CrossFit games.  Remembering last year when I sent my hubby to compete :)  P.s. swap out the yogurt for soymilk and you have yourself a more Paleo friendly smoothie.

Matcha Smoothie

Serves 1

Ingredients

·      ½ cup of low fat vanilla yogurt

·      1 banana

·      ½ tsp of matcha powder

·      4 ice cubes

·      ½ tsp of flaxseed

·      1 cup of frozen blueberries

Directions

1.     Add the yogurt, banana, matcha, ice cubes, flaxseed, and blueberries to the bowl of a blender.

2.     Purée contents until mixture is well combined and smooth.

3.     Pour into glass and enjoy!
